Free e-learning “Generative Engineering – AI-supported product development and product design”

“Generative Engineering” / “Generative Design” are iterative design methodologies in which products are not (further) developed visually, e.g. using classic CAD software, as was previously the case, but in which a wide variety of predefined constraints for their development are described in an algorithmic model.

Target group: Technical product developers, product designers, innovation managers, executives and anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and skills in the use of generative techniques and tools to optimise product development processes.

Three learning Paths (Courses) avaiable:

  • GDE01 “Generative Design & Engineering”
covers the fundamentals of Generative Engineering as well as their basic principles.
  • GDE02 “Topology Optimisation & Lightweight Design”
offers an introduction to this important aspect for the product development process.
  • GDE03 “Generative Engineering & Innovation”
focuses on the application of Generative Engineering for industrial business applications.
